The Wasabi Kimachi is a SuperMini in the Premier Pack DLC for MotorStorm: Apocalypse.

Resemblance

The Kimachi's basic design seems to be an amalgation of real life manufacturer Mazda's styling cues, especially those from the MX5/Miata. It is unique in that it is the only SuperMini that can have its roof removed.

Trivia

  • Although this car's livery was not available under menus, it could be applied to other vehicles by saving it as a vehicle package and applying it in that manner. (This trick was fixed/removed after patch 1.05 for those in the US who recieved a voucher)
  • Until this car's debut in Apocalypse, Wasabi has never made anything larger than an ATV for the MotorStorm series. However, given the nature of Wasabi's previous vehicles, it only seems appropriate to make its first car a SuperMini.
  • This is essentially the second open-top street car of any type in MotorStorm: Apocalypse, joining the Italia Torquemada. Eventually the Monarch Vestige-R added to this rather tiny, unique lineup.
  • Although it strongly resembles the Mazda MX-5/Miata, the Kimachi's tail lights look a lot like those of the third-generation Mazda RX-7.
  • The Kimachi appears in the Mischief Vehicle Pack 2 in MotorStorm RC.
  • It is named after a type of spice.
