Sphinx is a citizen of the City, honoring its demise in his own way, by tagging those hard-to-get places before they're gone forever. It's the impermanence of his art that gives it meaning.

Sphinx is a non-playable character in MotorStorm: Apocalypse. He takes a major role in the beginning of Big Dog's chapter of the Festival; after a wrecked helicopter passes him by down a nearby street, he is approached by Big Dog to do him a favour. The graffiti artist turns the wrecked gunship's spotlight into a signal, based on the MotorStorm logo. Mash later sees this signal when approaching the rally point in the Prologue.
He is voiced by Arif S. Kinchen.
Trivia[]
- According to the game's manual, Sphinx is the one who left the Festival Cards around the City.
- During a cutscene in Mash's campaign, Sphinx can be seen on the carrier, hanging by a rope and spray-painting part of the ship.
- During a cutscene, Yoshimi states that she was busy "checking the CCTVs for images of that Sphinx guy".
