The Lunar-Tec Buffalo is a Big Rig in MotorStorm and MotorStorm: Pacific Rift.
It is a fully-fledged aerodynamic racing Big Rig, and according to the game's producers it is styled to resemble a buffalo. This is clear when looking at its side profile. It is more vulnerable to wrecking than others of its class due to its over-exposed front axle.

- In the original MotorStorm, the Buffalo shares its orange "Hot-Dog" livery with the Patriot V8.
- It is widely regarded by the community as one of the worst Big Rigs, due to its exposed front axle that can cause wrecks, and its subjectively ugly design.
- As is the case with any other vehicle in the original MotorStorm, there are named AI drivers for player liveries who never appear in the game. The name is Gandalf for all three liveries.
- Gandalf is a name of a well-known fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's novels The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings.
- In Pacific Rift, Dmitri Molotov (green/white livery) and Sarah Hunter (yellow livery) are AI Characters seen driving this vehicle.
