- While other snowcats resemble tracked vehicles of factory design, Compadre is clearly a modified van placed on a tracked chassis with a v-shaped plow. Its body resembles a Chevrolet Van, giving the Compadre a close resemblance to the Lunar-Tec Wendigo.
- "Compadre" is a Spanish word that can translate to "godfather", "friend", or "protector" in English.
- Candy Buzzbomb (neon lines livery), Jeff Lawless (red/gray livery) and Kid Million (purple livery with green flamejob) are the AI Characters seen driving this vehicle.
