Mohawk Indiana

The Mohawk Indiana is a bike that has the honor of appearing in nearly every installment of MotorStorm so far. It is most likely modelled after the motorcycle used by Indiana Jones in "The Last Crusade" (which actually was a soviet Dnepr MT-11, modified to look like german BMW R75), hence the name Indiana. The bike often appears with compartments and cases mounted on both sides and above the rear wheel. These accessories are referred to as "Panniers" when customizing this Bike in MotorStorm: Apocalypse.

The Indiana is one of the two default Bikes in MotorStorm, alongside the Monarch Champ.

MotorStorm: Pacific Rift[]

It is unlocked by reaching Rank 3 in the Festival.

MotorStorm: Arctic Edge[]

It is the second bike unlocked in the game; players acquire it by ranking up in the Festival.

MotorStorm: Apocalypse[]

The Indiana is unlocked by completing three Level 3 Part Challenges with the Wulff Enduro.

Trivia[]

Big Dog uses this Bike on the track Boardwalk: Sea Spray.
Like the doors on most cars, the panniers can fall off after a certain amount of damage.
There is a humorous bug where the rider will occasionally fall off (or get knocked off) and the bike will keep upright and moving until it hits another object (although this bug could also possibly extend to other Bikes).
This is one of three vehicles named after US States, others being the Atlas Arizona and the Mohawk Montana.
The Indiana is one of MotorStorm's primary seven signature vehicles.
The Indiana, Wasabi Phoenix, Wasabi Wildcat MX, Wulff Enduro and the Wombat Typhoon are the only vehicles to have appeared in every title, excluding Arctic Edge, although the Wombat Typhoon and the Mohawk Indiana did appear in Arctic Edge (this excludes Apocalypse DLC vehicles such as the Patriot Surger, Mojave Slugger and Voodoo Iguana, which are included in the Remix Pack, making them technically appear in all console titles too).
Sometimes in Apocalypse, the rear wheel can 'phaze' through the framework above it when landing a big jump.
In MotorStorm, Briggs (black "PhoenixWare" livery), Candy Buzzbomb (green "Numskull" livery), Hannibal Figini (blue livery), Jaka Rickson (black/red livery) and Travis Maelstrom (grey livery) are the AI Characters seen riding this vehicle.
As is the case with any other vehicle in the original ''MotorStorm'', there are named AI drivers for player liveries who never appear in the game. The names are Clinton Jones (for the green livery), Leanne Grrrr (for Bandit livery) and Elizabeth Owen (for Red GL livery).
In Pacific Rift, Janine Brazon (blue livery), Mira Hawk (black/red livery) and Mohinder (olive livery) are the AI Characters seen riding this vehicle.
In Arctic Edge, Ali Stoneground (vivid green camo livery), Dmitri Molotov ("Революция" livery) and Jackson Stone (dull green camo livery) are the AI Characters seen riding this vehicle.
In Apocalypse, Flameboy (orange livery), Muerte (black #13 livery), Ratfood (dark green livery) and Sarge (lime green livery) are the AI Characters seen riding this vehicle.
In Pacific Rift, the Mohawk Indiana has a special engine sound deeper than most other bikes; a trait shared with the Mohawk Roadhog and Monarch Sparrowhawk.
